BAKED GOLD KIWIFRUIT CROISSANT
INGREDIENTS:
3 large or 6 small croissants, cut in half lengthwise
8 - 10 ZESPRI® GOLD Kiwifruit
sugar
powdered sugar
METHOD:
- Pre-heat
oven to 400°F.
- Place
the croissants, cut side up, on a non-stick or parchment
paper-lined baking sheet.
- Peel
and slice the ZESPRI® GOLD Kiwifruit. Arrange
slices on top of the croissants. Sprinkle with sugar.
- Bake
for about 20 minutes, or until the croissants are very
crisp, and the fruit softened and slightly
browned.
- Sprinkle
powdered sugar over the top and serve hot or warm.
Prep time: 5 minutes
Baking time: 20 minutes
