Introducing Hairy & Goldie

Hairy is a tangy-sweet, fuzzy green kiwifruit, and Goldie is a tropical-sweet, smooth-skinned, gold kiwifruit. They’re both originally from New Zealand, so you can call them “ZESPRI Kiwis” for short.

When the weather turns warm, and school lets out for summer break, then you know it’s time for Hairy and Goldie to come out and play. You can find them both at your local grocery store, and chances are, your mom and dad like them a lot too.

These funny, brown fruit have a green or gold surprise inside. Just slice kiwis in half with a butter knife and spoon out the tasty fruit, bite by delicious bite. They taste amazing, and the fruit that’s fun to eat will also help you grow big and strong.
